Tea App Review: Modern Witch Hunt Against Men
What is the tea app?
The Tea App has gone viral recently. It allows women from all across the world to come together…. and talk shit about men they don’t like. Think of it like Yelp for dating, but everyone only shares bad experiences. Seriously, the vibe inside the app is massively toxic. But it gets even worse than that
I decided to go undercover to see what exactly was going on. Men are explicitly not allowed, and they require women who apply to send a live selfie. Fortunately, I had my girlfriend around, so after a bit of back and forth, I was in. Here is what you see as you log in.
Since they don’t allow screenshots either, I had to take photos of screenshots using two phones. Once you’re in, you just basically see men in your area. You can also search for someone specific. If they are on the app, it’s because some girl wants to talk shit about them. During my whole time on there, I saw close to zero positive comments.
As a first step, I decided to look up myself to see what the ladies are saying about yours truly. Here is what I found:
The main critique seemed to be my filming of street interviews. Heaven forbid you ask a girl a quick question. Arinna was particularly nasty, randomly calling me a “cheap Russian”…only 50% of that is true. And bitching about the fact that my girlfriend and I occasionally have threesomes.
Also, bayoubabie3 deserves an honorable mention for attacking my eyesight. I know that a man’s vision is the most important quality for women. That being said, there honestly wasnt too many comments about me. This is likely due to the fact that I’ve been in a relationship for the past few years and am no longer living the player lifestyle.
Where Tea App takes a dark turn
I decided to look up one of my friends who I know is a massive player. He’s a good dude who just enjoys having sex with lots of hot girls. Nothing wrong with that, right? Not according to the bitter women on the Tea App. Here are some of the things that were being said
First girl implies that he is unemployed, which she pulled right out of her ass. The reality is that this person has a very good job. Next, we see Pilatesgirl just talking mad shit. But then, we go to Anastasiakatrina. She comments that he is “definitely a trafficker”. That is a crazy accusation that she also pulled out of thin air. I know 100% my friend is no such thing, but not everyone will. This kind of baseless accusation \ could destroy a man both professionally and socially.
Then we go to the second screenshot, where one girl who knows him tries to explain the truth. But she is “corrected” by Ms. Pilatesroyal, who has some creative new lies. She claims he is a drug addict, which is 100% false. That he has no money and is a pimp for millionaires. Don’t even know what that means, but like most comments on here, it’s BS.
And this leads us to the heart of the issue, which is that angry girls are just making shit up on here. The toxic environment in the app all but encourages defamation. Now, for a good laugh, I decided to also share the “rules” for the Tea app
The first rule says that mean-spirited remarks are not allowed, yet that’s literally all you see. The second rule says that you can’t make up lies about guys, yet we saw a lot of that, too. The rules do not seem to be enforced in any way.
Conclusion
The premise behind the tea app is not a bad one. Women should have a place where they can warn each other about dangerous guys. However, in reality, it has become something else. It’s a highly toxic community for women who are mad at a man or men in general. And a lot of them have no problem with making up lies about the guys, which can have serious consequences.
That being said, don’t worry. It doesn’t matter much whether you’re on the Tea app or not. The majority of women don’t use this app, and the ones who do are the ones you probably wanna stay away from in the first place
